Container #2

A contemporary dance double bill

Vitruvian Thing, Ptolemaeon 29A, 4th fl., 54630, Thessaloniki

Vitruvian Thing presents the second instalment of its “Container” event series. The initiative aims at grouping short-form works together, to facilitate a presentation to a live audience. The works themselves, while independent from each other, will share Vitruvian Thing’s stage that will, for all intents and purposes, provide a breeding ground for future outcomes.

erOtimata
Everything has been said from so many sides
Positive, negative, hard, beautiful, hot, lukewarm, ridiculous, serious, now, then.
Why are we still talking about it?
What makes it relevant?
How can there still be questions?

Everyday images, symbols of intimacy that act as boundaries. Personal space opening up, accepting, doubling when being shared. Performer Sofia Kalamaki creates a series of visual discussions in her cooperation with dancer Maria Kyrma in a common place shared but not owned.

What do you see?
Quo Vadis dance company invites you to the performance “What do you see?” which is inspired by the human origin by nature and the relationship with. A mystagogical solo that awakens and welcomes the audience to empathize, through the image and the movement. A performer as a creature with indiscernible boundaries of the human figure comes into direct dialogue with the idea that existence is inextricably linked with nature. Nature is within!
